That makes this the first TrailSport to feature hybrid power, but we\u2019re sure it won\u2019t be the last because 30 percent of Hondas sold now feature some kind of electrical boost and that number is only going to grow.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A More Rugged Look, But Still Mostly City-Bound<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article-thumbnails-organic\"><\/div>\n<p>As with previous TrailSport models the adventure-ready CR-V gets a raft of styling tweaks to make it look gnarlier, including lower bumper trims front and rear that resemble real off-road skid plates. There\u2019s orange-tinged detailing on the badges, gloss black trim for the door handles, window trim and spoiler, plus the option of the Ash Green metallic paint from the Passport.<\/p>\n<p>Trailsports also get Shark Gray 18-inch alloys with recessed valve stems to improve protection from rocks and branches when travelling off the beaten track, and come wrapped in Continental CrossContact ATR all-terrain tires. But unlike the similarly-badged <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/honda-passport\/\">Passport <\/a>there\u2019s no special suspension tune and no real skid plates because this TrailSport is less likely to be sent on a real adventure.<\/p>\n<section class=\"type:slideshow\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"lazy \" data-src=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" alt=\"\" src=\"\" data-type=\"inarticle-image\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"lazy \" data-src=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" alt=\"\" src=\"\" data-type=\"inarticle-image\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"lazy \" data-src=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" alt=\"\" src=\"\" data-type=\"inarticle-image\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"lazy \" data-src=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" alt=\"\" src=\"\" data-type=\"inarticle-image\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"lazy \" data-src=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" alt=\"\" src=\"\" data-type=\"inarticle-image\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"lazy \" data-src=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" alt=\"\" src=\"\" data-type=\"inarticle-image\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"lazy \" data-src=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" alt=\"\" src=\"\" data-type=\"inarticle-image\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"lazy \" data-src=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" alt=\"\" src=\"\" data-type=\"inarticle-image\" \/><\/section>\n<p>Under the hood is the same 204 hp (207 PS) twin-motor hybrid powertrain fitted to other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/honda-cr-v\/\">CR-V<\/a> Hybrids, but Honda didn\u2019t forget to spice up the interior. It added a bunch of TrailSport logos on the headrests and rubber floor mats, and ambient lighting bathes the footwells overhead console and cupholders in a TrailSport-specific amber glow.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What Else is New for 2026?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Every single CR-V trim now comes with at least 9 inches of touchscreen (up from 7 inches on base cars), a wireless phone charger and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
