In the video, the motorcyclist and the minivan driver are seen side by side in lanes one and two. Only after the collision does the Kia driver correct course, settling into lane three. The rider is pushed off the road and slides onto the shoulder. Meanwhile, the Kia driver moves back into lane one and drives off, leaving the scene.<\/p>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article-thumbnails-organic\"><\/div>\n<p>According to Beaverton <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/police\/\">Police<\/a>, the rider sustained serious injuries and went to a local hospital for treatment. They say the Kia driver is a man between 30 and 40 years old with a black beard. Authorities are still searching for that individual and are hoping the public can help. One person, who said they were there, described the sequence: \u201cThe SUV almost hit the bike earlier while switching lanes. The bike was behind the SUV, switched to the middle lane, flipped the driver off, and exchanged words since the SUV\u2019s passenger window was down. Then the SUV tried to kill him.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>While the true events leading up to the crash are still under investigation, one thing is clear; road rage never pays off.
