The trooper then initiated a traffic stop, but the driver reportedly fled at speeds in excess of 100 mph (161 km\/h).<\/p>\n<p><strong>More: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2025\/04\/police-pit-kia-at-109-mph-and-it-still-wont-stop\/\">Police PIT Kia At 109 MPH And It Still Won\u2019t Stop<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The trooper eventually caught up to the Supra and performed a PIT maneuver. This caused the coupe to spin and crash into a light pole, before bursting into flames. The resulting damage is pretty extensive as the front end has been obliterated. The rear bumper was also ripped off, while the windshield and back glass were broken.<\/p>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article-thumbnails-organic\"><\/div>\n<p>Given the severity of the crash, it\u2019s lucky the two people inside weren\u2019t seriously hurt. However, both were transported to a local hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n<section class=\"type:slideshow\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"lazy \" data-src=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" alt=\"\" src=\"\" data-type=\"inarticle-image\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"lazy \" data-src=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" alt=\"\" src=\"\" data-type=\"inarticle-image\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"lazy \" data-src=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" alt=\"\" src=\"\" data-type=\"inarticle-image\" \/><\/section>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Florida Highway Patrol<\/h4>\n<p>The driver was identified as 31-year-old Brandon Ramnarine of Tampa and he\u2019s been charged with fleeing and eluding at high speed.
